Jenks Simmons Fieldhouse Addition: Under Construction
Construction on the Jenks Simmons Fieldhouse addition has begun.
Crews anticipate having construction completed on the facility in late 2009.
Memorial Stadium: Bids Awarded, Construction to Soon Begin
The El Reno City Council awarded the bid to Pillar Contracting Inc. with all alternates for $2,212,440.
Construction on the stadium home side bleachers will begin immediately following the final home football game
Crews hope to have construction completed by the first home game in 2009.
El Reno Lake Facility: Under Construction
Construction is set to begin on this project on Monday, Sept. 15. Construction is slated to be completed sometime in late Mayor early June 2009 (weather and circumstances permitting)

Crews have completed this project. Striping and additional dress-up work will begin in the near future.

Project # 08-109 – Waterline Replacement on Barker from Elm to Watts: Nearing Completion
Crews have completed this project and will be doing touch-up work on the project in the near future.
The City Council and CIP Exec. Comm. have approved extending the project to Wade St. Construction will begin in early 2009
Project # 08-110 – Waterline Replacement on Caddo from Choctaw to Grand
Kerr 3 is in the final design phase of this project. A walking plan in hand was held on Friday, June 20th.
Plans are underway to bid and award this project in September.

Project # 09-06 – Road Improvements on Reformatory Road from Malone to Elm: Nearing Completion
City Council awarded a contract on Aug. 5th to contractors for stabilization and double chip and seal work to be performed on this project.
Approximately 4,200 LF (20 ft. width for driving surface) of road around Lake El Reno will stabilized and double chip and sealed as part of this project.
Project # 09- 07 – Road Improvements on Lake Road from Big Pavilion to West of Fishing Pier: Nearing Completion
City Council awarded a contract on Aug. 5th to contractors for a 2” asphalt overlay to be laid in place on this section of the road around Lake El Reno.
Approximately 4,000 LF (20ft. width for driving surface) of road around the lake will be overlaid as part of this project.
Approximately 200 – 300 LF of the paving area (east of the RV site) will be raised by Kerr 3.
Project# 09- 08 – Road Improvements on Lake Road from West of Fishing Pier to East of Low Water Crossing: Nearing Completion

Project # 09-09 – Road Improvements from West of Low Water Crossing to Elm:
This portion of the lake road we’ll be applying 1 ½” crusher run gravel.
Work is scheduled for late 2008.
Projects # 08-104 & # 09-04 – Streets & Parks Dept. Move to Public Works Facility on Spur Lane:
Demolition and cleanup of the old Street Dept. and Parks Dept. at Adams Park is completed.
Construction plans are also currently underway for a 50 ft. x 80 ft. City Vehicle Maintenance garage near the new Public Works Facility at Spur Lane.
